In 2016, Rachelle lost her father to cancer and her hearing in the same season. She was diagnosed with Sudden Hearing Loss and has since participated in cochlear implant research. If you ask her about it, she’ll tell you it changed the way she listens. Setbacks like that don’t stop her; they clarify things. That same steadiness shows up in how she works: direct, calm, clear-eyed about options even when the situation isn’t.
